stone coated steel roofing

Stone-coated steel roofing combines the durability of galvanized steel with the appearance of traditional shingles, shakes, or tiles. Each panel is finished with stone chips bonded to the surface, giving the roof long-lasting strength and an attractive style that resists fading, cracking, and weather damage.

Homeowners and businesses choose this system for its ability to handle hail, high winds, and heavy storms while still enhancing curb appeal.

At FS Contracting Services, our licensed and insured team has decades of experience installing, repairing, and replacing stone-coated steel roofs. We help property owners across Nebraska and Iowa get a roof that not only looks good but also protects for decades.

Stone-Coated Steel Roof Installation

Installing a stone-coated steel roof is an investment in long-term protection and style. Our team manages the entire process, from inspection to final install, so you get a roof built to last.

We work with both residential and commercial properties, ensuring every project meets local codes and delivers lasting performance in tough Midwest weather.

Stone-Coated Steel Roof Repair

Cracked panels, loose sections, or storm dents usually weaken your roof and allow water to seep in. If not addressed quickly, these issues often lead to interior leaks and costly repairs.

We provide targeted repairs that bring back the strength and appearance of your roof. From replacing storm damaged panels to resealing vulnerable areas, our licensed crew ensures your stone-coated system stays secure.

Stone-Coated Steel Roof Replacement

Roofs in our region face repeated storms, high winds, and harsh weather that often leave lasting damage. After years of wear, ongoing leaks, or constant patchwork, replacement becomes the most practical long-term solution.

We remove the old system and install new stone-coated steel panels designed for durability, energy efficiency, and long-term curb appeal. This upgrade provides stronger protection against local weather while giving your property a refreshed, modern look.

Types of Stone-Coated Steel Roofing We Offer

Stone-coated steel roofing comes in a variety of options, including trusted brands like Boral steel, granite finishes, and a wide selection of colors. You can choose affordable systems that fit your budget or can invest in premium profiles that deliver the highest quality and aesthetics.

Shake (e.g., Pine-Crest Shake)

Shake profiles give you the look of traditional wood shakes with the strength of steel. They add a rustic, natural style while resisting rot, splitting, and fire risks that real wood often faces.

In our region, where storms and moisture are common, stone-coated shake offers beauty without the constant maintenance. It is a popular choice for homeowners who want timeless character with long-lasting protection.

Shingle (e.g., Granite-Ridge Shingle, Cottage Shingle)

Shingle styles mimic the classic look of asphalt but outperform them in strength and longevity. They are lightweight, durable, and available in multiple colors to match both homes and commercial buildings.

For property owners looking for a familiar, traditional appearance with decades of service life, stone-coated steel shingles are a smart upgrade that adds both value and curb appeal.

Tile (e.g., Barrel-Vault Tile, Pacific Tile)

Tile profiles bring the bold look of clay or concrete tiles without the weight or cracking issues. They hold color, stand up to storms, and reduce the maintenance headaches of real tile.

Many businesses and homeowners have chosen our stone-coated tile roofing for high-end style backed by steel strength that handles local weather for long time.

What Our Customers Say

We have been very pleased with the work F/S Contracting has done for us. When the insurance adjustor came to inspect the old roof, they were here to talk to him. They started to work right away and completed the job with in a short time. They also put new gutters and new siding on our home. Again, very fast, thorough, and neat. We love our new roof and siding and also the great job F/S Contracting did for us!

John & Gerrie Gammel

My house was severely damaged in the 2016 hail storm and I contacted F/S Contracting to see if they can repair the damage that occurred on my home. They came out and inspected my home and said that they could repair the damage that included replacing the composition singles, roof vents, gutters, several windows, replacing the screens on my deck, replacing areas of my lap siding and painting my entire house. I was very pleased with the professional work that was done in a timely manner.

Bruce Robertson

I’ve worked with F/S Contracting a few times and they have been great to work with. They’ve replaced residential and commercial roofs for me. I really was concerned about the commercial property from the aspect of size, height and time factor, but I shouldn’t have been. They came in and got the job done. From the top on down they are all professional, always answering any questions I had and gave very helpful suggestions. The crew worked hard, in a timely matter and did a great job of cleaning up. They were very respectful and friendly. Would recommend to anyone.

Jim & Danielle Pelan

This last spring I had significant damage done to my roof by wind and hail. I contacted my insurance company and an adjuster came out to evaluate it. I was not satisfied with the adjuster’s settlement as it did not cover close to what was damaged. F/S Contracting in Tekamah came out and looked at the damage and took care of it from there on out. They met with the adjuster, walked him through all of the damages that he missed and needless to say the end result ended up being much different. F/S Contracting replaced my entire roof, fascia, and gutters/downspouts and did an outstanding job. They were fast, clean and provided high quality work. I would not hesitate to call them again for any of my needs!
